Welcome to the 2026-27 School Year!

Welcome Back, Danville Families!

We are so excited to welcome everyone back for another school year! The first day of school for 1st–12th graders is Wednesday, August 26, and we cannot wait to see our hallways filled with the laughter, curiosity, and energy that our students bring to Danville each day. There is truly nothing like the feeling of seeing our school community come alive again after a summer away.

As we begin this new year together, please keep an eye on our school website, newsletters, and other school communications for important updates and announcements. And, as always, we are here for you. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to us or any of our wonderful staff members if you have questions, ideas, or need support.

We also encourage all parents and guardians to be an active part of our school community. Whether you volunteer, join the Parent-Teacher Group (PTG) or Friends of Danville School, attend school events, or simply celebrate your child’s accomplishments, your involvement makes a difference. Together, we create a caring and connected school where every student feels seen, valued, and supported.

We are incredibly grateful for the trust you place in us and feel fortunate to partner with you in supporting your children as they learn and grow. Here’s to a wonderful year filled with learning, laughter, discovery, and meaningful connections.

We can’t wait to welcome you back!

Annual Registration Forms

All families are required to complete the annual registration forms for their students. These forms must be completed through their Parent PowerSchool account.

Instructions were shared with parents at the beginning of August. All forms were due by August 21st. If you have not yet completed these forms, please do so as soon as possible and ensure that they are completed before the first day of school.

If you have any questions, concerns or need help accessing your account, please contact Kassie Vogel (kassie.vogel@ccsuvt.net).

Student Arrival/Dismissal Procedures

All students who are family drop-off will be entering through the main lobby door. If they arrive between 7:30-8:00, they need to follow the below procedure for where to be during that time. Families, for the safety of all, please wait in the line and drop off your child anywhere along the sidewalk. Once your car is empty, you can slowly pull out and pass the other cars. Please do not park in the middle of the drop-off lane. If you need to park and walk your preschooler in, please park in our visitor spots or wait and pull up to the very front of the drop-off lane. High school students who drive themselves to school must also enter through the main lobby door. They may not use the high school hallway door.

Dismissal Procedures
Families of kindergarten - 6th grade students will wait in the pick-up line. All family groups have an assigned number. New car tags will be provided to families on the first day of school. Numbers do not change year-to-year. Parents who are picking up 7th-12th grade students can text their child when they are here for them to walk out.

Student walkers exit out of the bus loop doors. Parents/Guardians are requested to wait outside the main atrium doors for students walkers to exit. If it is cold out, we encourage you to go through the pick up line in your vehicle.

Early Morning Dropoff

Our doors open for early drop off at 7:30 AM, please do not bring students earlier as there is no supervision, and they will not be allowed in the building. All pK-12th grade students being dropped off should enter through the front lobby doors. HS students who drive to school also enter via the front entrance. All students are welcome to go to the cafeteria for breakfast. Elementary students (preK-6) remain in the cafeteria until 8 AM. Middle and high school students (7-12) can bring their breakfast to the gym, where they will remain until 8 AM. At 8 AM all students are welcome to go to their classrooms.
