Through the USDA Child Nutrition Programs, we work to offer dependable, high-quality options each school day.

In keeping with Vermont values, our School Food Authority makes every effort to support local farmers and regional producers whenever it is reasonably possible. Choosing foods that are grown and harvested close to home often means better flavor and stronger nutritional value. It also keeps our dollars in the community, supporting local businesses and the families who depend on them.
