Danville School

January 16, 2026
We hope that all of our students and families had a wonderful holiday break and were able to take some time to relax and recharge for the second half of the school year. We were very happy to welcome our students back into the building last week. We're so excited to see what the next semester of school has in store for us and to see all the amazing things that will be accomplished.

January is a time that brings cold and sometimes inclement weather. Please keep an eye on school communications for any weather-related updates. School cancellations and delays will be announced via ParentSquare alerts and phone calls. The local news stations (WCAX) and radio stations (97.7 & 105.5) also announce our school closing and delays. We will do our best to communicate with families as we learn of any closing, delays or early dismissals.

Morning Drop off Reminder

As a reminder, especially as we enter the winter season, school doors open at 7:30 a.m. for student drop-off. Please do not drop students off before this time, as staff are not available to supervise students prior to 7:30. Students who arrive before 7:30 will need to wait outside until doors open and staff are present.

Thank you for your cooperation in helping us keep all students safe.

Our Elementary Winter Concert is scheduled for Thursday, January 29th. All concerts will be located in our auditorium. We hope you can join us!

End of Semester 1

Our students are wrapping up their first semester of the 2025-2026 school year on January 16th. Report cards are scheduled to be sent home the week of January 26th.

For families with multiple students throughout the grade levels, report cards will be sent home with the youngest child in elementary school. For students in Middle - High school who do not have younger siblings in elementary school, report cards will be mailed home. All secondary household report cards will also be mailed home. Please be on the lookout for those to come home in the next few weeks!
