The Caledonia Central Supervisory Union is seeking an experienced administrator to lead the coordination of a comprehensive Prek-12 educational program. CCSU has 400 staff, and it serves just over 1,200 students in seven schools:
- Peacham Elementary School (Grades PK-6, Enrollment: 60)
- Caledonia Cooperative School District comprised of:
- Barnet School (Grades PK-8, Enrollment: 153)
- Walden School (Grades PK-8, Enrollment: 76)
- Waterford School (Grades PK-8, Enrollment: 149)
- Cabot School District (Grades PK-12, Enrollment: 156)
- Danville School District (Grades PK-12, Enrollment: 340)
- Twinfield Unified School District (Grades PK-12, Enrollment: 321)
CCSU is located in rural beautiful Danville, Vermont. Five schools are in Caledonia County and two schools are in Washington County. We are comprised of five school districts plus the Supervisory Union and have six school boards.
The fiscal year 2024 budgets totaled $47,376,289 for all six entities.
We are seeking an experienced PK-12 visionary and student-centered leader who is current on educational trends. Our next superintendent will be an ambassador for the CCSU schools.
In addition, the school district has some major facility projects that will be taking place soon and which will be a priority. The ideal candidate should have experience in overseeing building project management and managing school and district operations and resources.
Finally, an assistant superintendent position is being added for the 2024-25 school year. The new superintendent will have the opportunity to be involved in the hiring of this new position.
